Series

The primary rule for an art lover and/or collector is to acquire what you genuinely love and what resonates with you, as art should first and foremost be a passion. Financial considerations or market trends should not be the sole motivation. Follow your passion and trust your instinct! Choose artworks that move you and that you sincerely love, regardless of market trends.

HueZo is the artist name of Eric J. Hughes, a contemporary Canadian painter born in Montreal of Irish descent. His work essentially explores emotional abstraction, synesthesia, rhythm in nature, and the vibration of colors.

Yes. A graphic designer by profession, and although primarily self-taught, he holds a Certificate in Practical Arts from Bishop’s University (2003) province of Quebec, Canada.

Acrylic painting, collages, ink, and oil sticks on canvas or wood, combining rich textures and intuitive gestures. And more recently, a graphics tablet for his digital visual creations.

To create ever-evolving art that evokes emotion stemming from inner energy. HueZo is primarily inspired by nature and music, using color as a universal language.

In Canada and Quebec, purchasing an original painting is more than just an aesthetic choice: it is a depreciable capital asset. Here is how to turn your walls into a financial lever.

The 3 Conditions for Tax Eligibility
For the purchase of your artwork to be tax-deductible, three simple criteria must be met:
• Origin of the Work: The artist must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident at the time the work was created. Rest assured, Eric J. Hughes aka HueZo is a Canadian artist.
• Business Purpose: The artwork must be acquired for the purpose of earning income. It must be displayed in your professional premises (offices, meeting rooms, reception areas) in view of your clients or employees.
• Minimum Investment: The acquisition cost must be at least $200.

A Triple Benefit for Your Business
• Tax Optimization: Benefit from an annual Capital Cost Allowance (CCA).
• Federal: A declining-balance deduction of 20% (Class 8).
• Quebec: An accelerated deduction of 33.33% to support local art.
• Asset Appreciation: Unlike standard office furniture that depreciates over time, an original work of art by a recognized artist has strong potential for long-term capital gains.
• Prestige and Culture: Improve the quality of life for your team and project an image of success and cultural support to your partners.

If you are registered for GST and QST, you can generally recover the full amount of taxes paid on the purchase of the artwork through Input Tax Credits (ITCs) and Input Tax Refunds (ITRs).

A professional “Fine Art” Giclée reproduction printed on museum-quality canvas (410 gsm) with Ultra High Definition pigment inks, stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.

Canvas art prints are highly valued for their blend of traditional art and modern technology, creating a wall décor piece that is both elegant and durable.

• Artistic Appearance: The final look resembles an authentic painting on canvas, thanks to the material’s distinctive texture, which adds depth and relief to the image.
• Quality Support: The canvas used is high-quality, offering an elegant finish and great durability. It is more resistant to wear than traditional paper prints.
• Wood Frame: The image is typically fixed onto a stretcher frame (chassis), which gives it a dimensional appearance and makes it ready to hang without the need for additional framing.
• Versatility: This technique is used to transform personal photographs, digital creations, or reproductions of artworks into decorative wall art.
• Longevity: Depending on the inks used, “Giclée” canvas prints have a very long lifespan, sometimes exceeding 100 years, while resisting fading.

• Gallery Wrap (Mirror Effect) – Recommended
• White Edge
• Black Edge

Yes, several floating frame options are available to you. You will find the options on the product page when placing your order.

Up to 100 x 54 inches (254 x 137 cm) mounted on a stretcher frame or 150 x 58 inches (381 x 147 cm) rolled canvas.

Acrylic prints use a high-definition printing technique encapsulated under clear acrylic, which provides a stunning visual result with great depth and vibrant luminosity in a modern and durable format. It is often considered a premium option for displaying photography and contemporary artwork, resulting in a bright, modern, luxurious, and durable finish.

• Depth and Luminosity: The acrylic material captures and refracts light, giving colors exceptional vibrancy and an almost three-dimensional effect.
• Durability: Acrylic is a resilient, shatterproof, and UV-resistant material, protecting the image from dust, moisture, and fading.
• Modern and Elegant Finish: The smooth, glossy surface of the acrylic print lends it a clean, contemporary look, highly sought after in art galleries, offices, and modern living spaces.
• Frameless Display: The elegant nature of the final product means it does not require a frame. It is often equipped with a discreet hanging system that gives the impression that the artwork is floating slightly in front of the wall.
• Variety of Finishes: While a glossy finish is the most common, matte finish options are available to reduce reflection.

• Ultra sharp and deep
• Water-resistant
• Modern gallery style
• Ready to hang

• Floating Back Frame (Recommended)
• Metallic Standoffs
• Plate Only

The smooth, matte finish creates a sophisticated look that is perfect for the home or office. The matte surface minimizes reflections, creating a soft and subtle appearance that draws attention to the details of the image. This process is particularly popular for black and white photos, abstract images, or those whose subject already contains metallic surfaces, as it enhances the visual effect. The distinctive effect for Brushed Metal is created because the white or very light areas of the image are not printed, allowing the texture and sheen of the brushed metal to show through the image. Every Metal Print comes with an integrated 3/4-inch back floating frame, ready to hang on your wall.

• Appearance: The result is a unique silvery metallic effect that gives the artwork a modern and industrial look.
• Texture: The texture of the brushed metal, characterized by fine parallel lines, remains visible throughout the image, including in the printed areas.
• Contrast: The metallic sheen of the contrasting surface offers a finish different from prints on other media such as paper or acrylic.
• Substrates: Printing is often done on aluminum composite panels, such as Dibond.
• Durability: The inks used are generally UV and water-resistant, making these prints durable and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Brushed Metal and White Metal are both printed on Brushed Aluminum; the printing procedure is the only difference. Specifically, Brushed Metal is printed directly onto the aluminum with all light colors showing the metallic texture. White metal images are printed with a white ink layer underneath, so as not to lose light colors, creating a matte texture with a slight natural grain.

Yes, the Brushed Metal or White Metal Print is waterproof; the UV ink technology and this process are water-resistant. The only thing you need to note is that the Back Frame mounting option is wood-based and is not guaranteed to last long in a humid environment; opt instead for using metallic parts as a mounting option or the metal sheet only.

A flatbed printer is used to print directly onto the metal surface at 1200 dpi. To take advantage of the brushed surface, white is absent so that the white in the image becomes the reflective brushed metal surface.

Yes, without a problem. Brushed Metal, just like White Metal, is printed with UV inks and is water-resistant.

A high-definition print transferred by dye-sublimation onto ChromaLuxe HD metal — museum quality.

This process provides vibrant colors, very sharp details, and great durability. These prints are resistant to water, scratches, and weather, making them ideal for indoor or outdoor use.

• High Definition (HD): The term “HD” refers to the high resolution and sharpness of the image details, resulting in an exceptional rendition.
• Dye-Sublimation: This is the printing process. Inks are heated to transition directly from solid to gas and are absorbed into a special coating on the metal.
• Durability: The images are not printed on the surface but are integrated into the coating, protecting them from scratches, water, and UV rays.
• Lightweight: Despite their robust appearance, the metal panels are lightweight, which facilitates installation, especially for large formats.
• Finish: Different finishes are available, such as glossy white, matte white, or glossy transparent, to adapt the final look to the image.

HD ChromaLuxe metal is printed using a compressor that heats the ink onto the ChromaLuxe metal, creating a smooth finish to showcase a highly defined image.

Printed with EPSON UltraChrome ink, including fluorescent ink.

The Back Frame Mount or the Floating Frame Box support is approximately 1 inch thick. Thus, your purchase, when hung on the wall, will float 1 inch from the wall.

Unlike other media, ChromaLuxe metal prints are easy to clean. These metal prints can be cleaned with a cloth and any all-purpose cleaner. The cleaner can be sprayed directly onto the surface of the print and then wiped clean with a cloth as needed.

• Vibrant Colors
• Scratch-resistant
• UV + Humidity Resistant
• 60+ years tested durability

The combination of unparalleled color brilliance, superior durability, and true generational archival qualities make ChromaLuxe the ideal choice for image reproduction and the perfect choice for professional photo printing. ChromaLuxe metal prints are the ideal medium for displaying illustrations and photography. These prints will transform domestic or commercial interiors into world-class design experiences.

Wood Art Prints made with UV inks on a 3/8-inch (approximately 9.5 mm) birch wood panel feature several key characteristics that distinguish them from canvas or paper prints. White and very light areas are not printed on the wood, revealing the natural beauty of the wood grain, providing incredible image quality resistant to scratches. Colors will not fade over time. Every wood print is unique; the grain and texture of the wood are never the same.

• Natural and Rustic/Modern Look: Birch (Baltic birch plywood) has a fine grain and a light, almost pale (cream or off-white) color. This gives the artwork a look that is both natural and modern.
• Visibility of Wood Grain: The image is printed directly onto the wood without an opaque base layer. The light or white areas of the image will allow the wood’s texture and grain to show through. This adds an organic and unique dimension to each print.
• Rigidity and Flatness: The 3/8-inch wood panel is very stable and rigid, which is its main advantage over canvas. The artwork is much less likely to warp, bend, tear, or puncture over time.
• Longevity: A birch wood print is considered very durable. Birch wood itself is valued for its good dimensional stability.
• Smooth Surface: Baltic grade birch plywood offers a very smooth and uniform surface (unlike a textured canvas), which allows for excellent detail sharpness and faithful reproduction of fine lines.
• No Frame Needed: Due to its thickness, the wood panel is naturally a finished support. The edges (often left natural or painted) become an integral part of the design.
• Lightweight (for a rigid panel): Birch is a relatively light wood compared to other hardwoods, and the 3/8″ (9.5 mm) is a solid but not excessive thickness, offering a physical presence and slight depth to the artwork.

Yes, every wood print comes with a ¾-inch (19 mm) floating frame at the back, ready to be hung.

Self-adhesive vinyl printing is a modern decorative solution that combines the high quality of a printed image with the simple installation of a sticker, to create a strong visual impact on walls.

A giant wall mural reproduction is produced by printing sections of an image onto an easy-to-install, glue-free, repositionable self-adhesive vinyl that is then applied directly to a wall like wallpaper. This type of printing allows you to quickly and easily transform a plain surface into a personalized artwork.

• Ease of Installation and Removal: Unlike traditional wallpaper, self-adhesive vinyl is applied without glue or complex tools, and it can be removed without damaging the wall or leaving residue.
• Full Customization: It is possible to print high-resolution images, complex patterns, or custom designs onto the vinyl surface, offering great flexibility in terms of decoration.
• Durability: Vinyl is a robust material, resistant to scratches and moisture, making it ideal for high-traffic areas or humid environments. The inks used are also fade-resistant.
• Versatile Finish: The vinyl can be laminated to create different finishes, such as matte or glossy, protecting the print and modifying the visual aspect.
• Varied Applications: Although primarily used for walls, self-adhesive vinyl can be applied to other smooth, non-porous surfaces like furniture, doors, or even glass.

It is not printed paper or wallpaper, but rather a professional-grade self-adhesive vinyl with a canvas texture.

Generally printed in strips of 30 to 45 inches (76 to 114 cm) wide for easy installation. The width of the strips is defined based on the total format of the project.

Yes, the eco-solvent ink used for printing on the canvas-textured self-adhesive vinyl is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. You can gently clean your mural with a water-based solution.
